2017 edition of the Beer Fest of Partanna: the Sicily among tastes and traditions

Are you planning a trip in Sicily and are you really passionate about craft products and beer in particular? Then, you can’t miss the Beer Fest of Partanna, near Trapani, an event dedicated to the development of the craft beer and this year it came to its third edition.
The Beer Fest of Partanna 2017 edition, is waiting for all lovers of good beer and health fun, on September 3 for a trip to the discover of local flavors, in the beautiful land of Sicily. The event is promoted with the patronage of the town hall of Partanna and will host local and regional craft beer producers, restaurateurs and enterprises in the Belice Valley and beyond. You will be able to see all the processing steps of products and, of course, taste them.
What to see
Partanna, whose name seems to have arab origins, is located in the Belice Valley. The town, surrounded by walls, was a late medieval old town and was built in the 14th century. One of the most beautiful places to visit in the area is certainly Segesta, an ancient town on the top of Mount Barbaro, where you can admire the beauty of the Greek theater and the Doric temple. And if you still want to dive in the past, then visit the island of Mozia, a Phoenician city near Trapani, all to discover.
How to get
- By car. If you prefer to travel by car, to get to Trapani from Palermo, you have to take the A29 motorway to Mazara del Vallo and then follow the directions, and in two and a half hours, you will arrive at your destination.
- On the train. If you prefer the train, the trip from Palermo to Trapani train station takes about three hours.
