Catania Bike festival: two days dedicated to biking and sport

“It is not a fair neither a competition but a festival dedicated to families, cyclists (and not) of all ages and passions”. These words are taken (and traduced) from the official website of the event. And there is no better way to describe Catania Bike festival, which in 2015 will take place on May 30 and 31.

It’s a special event which will take place in a special location: parco Gioeni is one of the most important parks of Catania, on a hill overlooking the city, a 86 thousand square meters green area, where it’s possible to admire Etna volcano and the gulf of Catania, on the sea of Sicily.

In this park there are permanent mtb trails, with dirt trails and single track trails. And here will take place the several events scheduled during Catania Bike festival 2015: as for the past editions, Catania Bike festival will be a moment dedicated to all bikers, professionals and amateurs. Races, demonstrations, seminars, projections, bike test: because bike is not only a sport but a way of life.
