Spending Christmas in Palermo: there are four must-see events

The ideas for spending this Christmas in Sicily are really several. You have chosen the Sicilian capital city as destination for a winter short trip. So, on the occasion of Christmas 2016 in Palermo, there are four must-see events.

1. ArtisticaMente, fiera dell’artigianato di Natale. It will take place on December 17^th, Saturday, and December 18^th, Sunday, from 10am to 8pm at the Grand Hotel Wagner. Forty artisans will be here for a Christmas fair that will offer: bags, delicatessen, jewellery, leather goods, Christmas gifts and more.
2. Fiera di Natale. It will take place until January 8^th in viale Regione Siciliana. In a 2 thousand square meters exhibition space, you will find almost everything from Christmas decorations to many gift ideas. In addition, there will be a large amusement park.
3. Giotto park village. It will take place until January 15^th, from 5pm to 1 am, in piazza Giotto. In one place, there will be a Christmas fair and many attractions. More than one hundred exhibitors for an event that offers entertainment, shopping, art, and culture.
4. Il presepe vivente di Capaci. It will take place on December 25^th and 26^th (from 4:30pm to 8pm) and January 6^th (from 9:30pm to midnight) in the old town centre of Capaci. Simply, in these days you will see one of the most beautiful living nativity scenes of Sicily.
