Festivalle: music, dance and art in a beautiful place

In this photo you can see a suggestive glimpse of the Valley of the Temples, which is not surprisingly considered one of the most beautiful places in Sicily. Well, this place, on days 9, 10 and 11 August, will become even more special. And it will become so for the 2018 edition of Festivalle.

The program

Festivalle is a unique event of its kind. Not just for the beautiful location where the different events will be held. But also because it represents an incredible mix of different artistic forms: dance, orchestral music, electronic music and DJ sets will combine perfectly, offering an event that can satisfy all tastes. Some of the 2018 guests will be Chicago Stompers, Thomas Blacharz and Tobi Neumann.

How to get

First of all, you must book a ferry to Sicily that will take you to Palermo, the regional capital. We advise you to board a car on the ferry, so that you can move freely when you arrive.

From Palermo, driving south, you must take, in order:

• State road 121;
• The state road 189;
• State road 640;

always following the signs for Agrigento and for the Valle dei Templi. The journey by car takes about two hours.

Three ideas for a holiday

And Festivalle will not be the only attraction of your holiday along the southern coast of Sicily.

• First of all, there is Agrigento to see, a city rich in history, art and culture.
• Not far away, there is another one of the most beautiful archaeological sites in Sicily: by car it will take less than an hour and a half to reach Selinunte.
• Finally, there is no summer without sea and among the most beautiful beaches of southern Sicily there are the famous Scala dei Turchi and Porto Empedocle.
