Culture and entertainment: the third edition of the LinosArt Festival in Linosa

Convergence, tolerance and civilization but also music, theater and cinema. All this is LinosArt, the International Theater and Performing Arts Festival. If you have decided to spend your holidays in the beautiful land of Sicily, September is a month full of dates don’t be missed , to combine the need of relax and the authentic fun.

The Festival

The leitmotiv of the LinosArt of Linosa is the theme of the migration and the travel. The aim is to send a message of peace and fraternity through the universal language of the art. The third edition of the festival will take place from 2 to 9 September 2017 and provides the dancing exhibitions, musical performances, theater shows, films, photography, literature and performative arts. An event in Sicily, very full of ideas and suggestions that will be fun but that also will made reflect, in the beautiful framework of the island that for this event became a natural stage. The originality of the festival is in the accuarate selection of the places chosed for the rapresentations. Linosa, as Lampedusa, in fact, long since is a land of hospitality. The Pelagie area, in fact, is point of meeting and comparison among different cultures, in the center of Mediterranean Sea.

How to get

• By plane: reach the Lampedusa island and then, from the port you can take the ferry to Linosa island. In alternative, you can land in Palermo, or Catania, head to Agrigento and from Empedocle Port to reach the Linosa island by ferry.
• By train: direct to Agrigento and then from Empedocle Port take the ferry to Linosa.
