Therefore, Palermo Christmas markets 2014 are the occasion to visit this ancient land and to find original (and low cost) Christmas presents.
Un Natale fatto a mano
Literally, “an handcrafted Christmas”. Un Natale fatto a mano, from December 6th to 21st in villa Filippina (San Francesco di Paola square), is a big and popular fair dedicated to handcrafted Christmas presents and Sicilian culinary traditions.
Organized by Associazione Artigianando, during this Christmas market various events will take place, and there is a skating rink. For more information about the events (opening times, tickets and reservations) visit the website Aartigianando.it.
Arte e sapori di Natale a Bagheria
Literally, “Christmas arts and tastes in Bagheria” (Bagheria is a little town near Palermo). Arte e sapori di Natale a Bagheria (from December 6th, 2014 to January 6th, 2015 in villa Valguarnera) gathers artisans, hobbyists, restaurateurs, wine and food experts and farms. An occasion to discover Sicily and to find original Christmas presents.
Arte e sapori di Natale a Bagheria is organized by Terra del Sole cultural association. The event is open everyday, from 10:30am to evening. For more information, visit the official website Associazioneterradelsole.com.
Un Natale fatto a mano and Arte e sapori di Natale a Bagheria are the main fairs but not the only Palermo Christmas markets 2014: during a holiday in Sicily you can discover them all.
