Recommended beaches in Sicily: 3 ideas for you

Talking about beaches, Sicily is one of the best tourist destinations in the whole world. But, in this Italian island, beaches are so many. And since the time, during a vacation, is limited, you want to know which are the recommended ones.

There is not only one kind of beach, and each of them is suitable for a different kind of vacation. And that is the advice we want to give you: here you can find three good ideas.

1. Palermo

The first two names that come to mind are the main contenders, every year, for the “award” of preferred beach people of Palermo. We are, of course, talking about Mondello and Addaura: very clean, easy to reach, they are simply ideal for a vacation dedicated to relaxation near a beautiful sea.

Among the other beaches of Palermo and surroundings, there are Magaggiari, capo Gallo, Isola delle Femmine, Cefalù. They are all easy to reach and are also recommended if, during a vacation, you‘re just looking for relaxation.

2. Aeolian Islands

Your dreams are little, real paradises set in an unspoilt, almost wild coast. Places where you can feel the sensation to be far, far away from daily rut, where you will be accompanied solely by the sounds of sea and wind.

Such places exist. These are the most beautiful beaches in the Aeolian archipelago:

  • Spiaggia Bianca;
  • Spiaggia di Pollara;
  • Spiaggia delle Fumarole;
  • Spiaggia di Forgia Vecchia;
  • Alicudi Porto;
  • Cala Junco;
  • Capo Graziano.

Some of them are not easy to reach and there are located on several islands, but the views you will enjoy are incomparable. You can visit them thanks to one of the several boat excursions that depart daily.

3. Aegadian Island

Favignana, Levanzo and Marettimo are the “three sisters” just off the coast of Trapani. On these three islands, there are the five most beautiful beaches of the Aegadian Archipelago:

  • Cala Rossa;
  • Cala Fredda;
  • Spiaggia del Cretazzo;
  • Cala Azzurra;
  • Cala Bianca.

Why choose them? It’s easy to say: for the panorama. Which, between the deep blue of the sea and the green of the Mediterranean scrub, will leave you, simply, speechless.
