The beach of Scario: an unforgettable place on Salina coast

You will comfortably lie on one of the most beautiful beaches of Messina, maybe of the whole Sicily. Who was there, describes it as memorable, lovely, and promises to return as soon as possible. We are talking about the famous Scario beach.

The beach – On the north coast of Salina, one of the most visited and appreciated Aeolian islands. Scario is a small beach, made of pebbles and polished stones. Lush Mediterranean scrub grows Behind the beach. The sea, and there would be no need to say, is incomparable.

Relax and history – It is the main reason for which hundreds of visitors annually visit this beach. Never particularly crowded, even during the high season, the beach of Scario is recommended to those who want to sunbathe and enjoy a nice swim in the sea. This is a destination with and ancient story: the sailing ships that traded with Campania stopped over at this beach.

How to get there – Salina Island is easily reachable via ferryboat from Messina and Milazzo. Scario beach is located in the Municipality of Malfa. From the village, a road leads to  the beach.
