The Sherbeth festival celebrates its tenth edition

What’s better than an ice cream, especially if we speak about artisanal ice cream? If you are a lover of this specialty and you have the opportunity to enjoy a little holiday (or even a weekend) in Sicily at the end of September, know that, in 2018, the Sherbeth – International Festival of homemade ice cream will celebrate its tenth edition from 27 to September 30^th.

The festival

The true protagonists will be the fifty master ice-cream makers coming from all over the world, who will make an appointment at Sherbeth to “challenge each other” with delicious ice creams and to allow all participants to taste their authentic culinary works of art.

In the days of the event, the Sherbeth will become an open-air laboratory: scheduled tastings, debates, concerts, spaces dedicated to children and, obviously, courses for aspiring ice cream makers. Everything is always in absolute respect of the quality and craftsmanship of ice cream.

Palermo

And also Palermo, the city where the 2018 edition of Sherbeth will be held, will become a real ice cream village. But do not “limit yourself” to satisfy your sweet tooth because, not to be forgotten, you are in one of the most beautiful cities in the Mediterranean and not visiting it would be a real shame.

How to get

Nothing could be simpler: just book a place on one of the many ferries to Sicily that will take you to the Sicilian capital. We advise you to board a car, so that you can move freely during this little off-season vacation.
