The name is changed. The taste, however, remains the same, and this event is always one of the most awaited of the year not only in Sicily but in Italy. For two weekends, from September 25 to 27, and from October 2 to 4, the town of Bronte hosts EXPO of pistachio 2015 (the XXVI edition of the famous pistachio festival).
The 2015 edition of the festival
The pistachio of Bronte is also known by a very significant name: l’oro verde di Bronte, literally “the green gold of Bronte”. And the EXPO of pistachio 2015 aims to be the most important event to value, protect and, above all, promote this priceless treasure.
This will be the aim of producers and chefs who will attend the event. The various stands will be divided into four sectors: Gastronomy, Local products, Pistachio, Handcraft. Moreover, this also becomes an opportunity to discover not only the beauty of Bronte but to enjoy an excursion to Etna.
How to get there
