The poster, created by Ginevra Chiechio, is nothing more than a modern reinterpretation of one of the most intense scenes in the history of cinema: the kiss on the beach between Deborah Kerr and Burt Lancaster.
From here to eternity he was winner of 8 Academy Awards, and consecrated a love scene, which left an indelible mark in the collective imagination.
Taormina Film Fest presents itself with a renewed Aristic Direction and, for the first time, composed of three well-know-journalists and film critics:
A team of experts already working with the General Coordinator Gida Salvino, long-time television author, to define the editorial line and the program of this 67th edition. Taormina Film Festival i s produced and organized by Videobank Spa, on the concession of the Foundation Taormina Art Sicliy and with the patronage of the Tourism Department of Sport and Entertainment of the Sicily Region and the municipality of Taormina.
News of this edition will be the Media Partnership with RAI, which will support the Taorima Film Fest . A concrete collaboration that will involve Rai Movie and Rairadio3, where you can follow the event with the Holliwood Party broadcast. Both will ensure full information about the event: from the red carpet with the stories of the various protagonists at the stage of the Teatro Antico. Rairadio3 will always be in touch with the background of interviews, curiosity, giving users the opportunity to comment on social media all the films in the program.
Now you just have to know how to get to Taormina. The two main tourist ports in the vicinity are Catania, to the south, and Messina to the north of the island. You can choose to board one of the ferries to Sicily and then once on the island, you can take the A18 and follow the signs for Taormina.
The journey by car from Catania takes about 50 minutes while the journey by car from Messina takes about an hour and 15 minutes.
