Taobuk international book festival: books will enrich your holiday in Sicily

June is always a great month to visit Sicily. And you can combine two things: panoramas that will leave you speechless and a touch of culture. How is it possible? Simple: all you have to do is participate in the 2019 edition of the Taobuk international book festival, which will take place in Taormina from June 21^st to 25^th.

Between books…

Desiderio (“desire”) will be the fil rouge of Taobuk international book festival 2019. The main events are scheduled in a wonderful place: the splendid Greek theatre of Taormina (and not only, because other events will take place even in historic buildings).

The events include conferences with national and international writers, exhibitions, retrospectives and theatrical performances. Events that will make Taobuk international book festival 2019 really special and unmissable.

We can say: words and music. Because the Greek theatre of Taormina is also the location for concerts that enliven the summer in this part of Sicily. Among the (great) artists who will perform, we can mention, for example, Earth Wind and Fire, Francesco De Gregori, Fiorella Mannoia, Jethro Tull, Nick Mason, Antonello Venditti. We bet you will find another excellent “excuse” to return to Taormina.

How to get

Getting to Taormina from Catania and from Messina is very easy: in both cases, you just have to take E45 motorway following the road signs to Taormina; the journey by car takes about one hour (car that you can take on the ferry).
