Teatro del Fuoco: the spectacular edition starts

Fire is so many things. It is life, movement, mutability. It is a spectacle, especially if at night. And especially during an as particular as evocative event of the Sicilian summer, that is the 2018 edition of the Teatro del fuoco, to be held between the end of July and the beginning of August.

This is the “second name” of the event, whose 2018 edition will take place in three different events:

• Church of Santa Maria dello Spasimo (Palermo), 31 July;
• Villa Filippina (Palermo), 1 and 2 August;
• Montagna di sale at the Baglio Di Stefano in Gibellina (Trapani).

In all three events, you will be enchanted by the mastery of fire dancers from all over Europe and beyond. In addition to their performances, it will also be possible to listen to concerts, attend presentations and discover places that, illuminated by the light of the fire, will give you certainly certain suggestions.

How to get

You only have to book a place on one of the ferries to Sicily in time to Palermo. To take the tickets, you just need to use the reservation system that you can find here: once all the required fields have been filled in, the tickets will be sent directly by email, saving not only time but also money (since , in a single screen, you can compare all the prices offered by the different companies and always choose the most economical solution).

Two places to visit

As you have seen, the Teatro del fuoco 2018 will take place in two destinations:

• The first is Palermo, where there are a lot of things to see and the beautiful beaches, which will make your trip really special;
• The second is Gibellina, an excellent starting point from which you can easily reach Santa Margherita Belice, also known as the city of Gattopardo.
