The Warhol exhibition in Taormina: just a month left to admire it

Just his name, makes you think of some of the most famous artworks that made the art history in the world. Pieces of art that you must see once in your life. And now here’s your chance: Palazzo Corvaja in Taormina will host the Andy Warhol exhibition  until 7th June 2015.

The exhibition

Made in Warhol, this is the name of the beautiful art exhibition, which consists in over sixty artworks of the American artist. All of these belong to the Rosini-Gutman Collection, which includes Campbell’s Soup, Brillo, Marilyn Monroe’s portraits, Mao, Man Ray, John Gotti, Liz Taylor.

You can also enjoy the posters of his films, the covers of some of the most famous albums (like the Rolling Stones’, Velvet Underground’s and Grace Jone’s ones), some of the dresses designed by him, and video portraits. And last, but not least, the very rare projection of an interview made by the Italian journalist Vanni Ronsisvalle in 1977, in which you can see Warhol walking through Rome’s streets meeting persons like Federico Fellini.

Not only Warhol

Don’t forget that Taormina is one of the most beautiful place in Sicily. You can do so many things there, like visiting the Isola Bella beach, the Greek theatre, Catania and Messina, which are near, and the Etna volcano. You won’t regret it.
